Chevron Driving School is one of the largest driving
schools in the SE of England, advertising in 16 editions of yellow
pages as well as having a web site that receives over 10000 hits
per month. This generates well over 150 calls a day from potential
pupil’s with over 50 confirmed bookings from L-drivers a day.
Current Chevron instructors have a full diary and have a waiting
list of between 3-to-5 weeks and work the hours that they choose,
with many instructors not working past 6.00pm or weekends. Once
qualified, ADI’s who register with the Pass-Plus scheme earn
an additional £21.00 per hour – with a minimum of 6
lessons – from pupils who have passed their driving test and
wish to receive a 30% discount on their car insurance. Furthermore,
if ADI’s who are Grade 5 or above wish to register as instructors
for the Drivers Incentive Scheme they will receive an additional
premium per hour. This scheme is run in conjunction with the Court
Service, local councils, Police and Driving Schools and is designed
to improve the skills and attitudes of traffic offenders through
additional training from ADI’s.
